No am not, but I will like to, especially with this unstable economy, you know climbing the corporate ladder is not always about what you know, but it's more like who do you know up there.
Well, maintaining a good relationship with the people at work is a noble cause, but who can? nowadays that the corporate slogan is look out for number one by all means.
You are right, it seems like people are less friendly and more self centered these days, you know, the work place is not what it used to be, there is just too many back stabbing going-on even among departmental heads.
It is just too painful that those you try to help are the first to back-bite you, I mean look at what you went through last year because of those impatient, back stabbing and conniving colleagues of yours
Looking back, I really don't know how I survived their conspiracy, but I thank BIC [BROTHERS IN CHRIST] for showing me where to find the extra strength to forgive them, because my greatest struggle was letting the past go
Did I hear you right? BIC's group! what? Find what? A way to let go of the past. Hold it there for a minute! are you saying that after all they have done to you. You w-i-l-l for- gi- ve them!
Let me get this right, does this mean that you will personally recommend them for this year's salary increase and promotion. Especially now that you have the opportunity to get even.
If you take revenge nobody will blame you, after all we all know how you suffered because of their persecution.
My friend speak only for yourself, because these people that are anxiously waiting to see me take revenge on evil doers, are they not the same people clapping and cheering them on while they were trying to destroy me? Did anyone bother to remind them that I have monthly bills to pay and many mouths to feed?
You may be right, but you should not forgive this people because they will just continue to hurt people thinking it's alright to do it.
Ok, let's assume that they will continue in their ways of back stabbing others, but they deserve a second chance, or don't they?
It is true that they tried in the past to damage my reputation, but that was past year and this is New Year and besides I am not going to allow them to keep opening my past wounds, I mean, nowadays our paths crosses too frequently for any pretension to transcend solace.
Anyway suppose you were in a car accident last year, will you keep-on blaming the driver of the vehicle that hit you this year or you will try to count it as a bad experience, by been more careful when crossing the road.
By the way what is so wonderful about the accident and the pains for you to keep bringing them up in mind? Don't you think that you will be better off, if you can completely wipe the whole incident of the slate of your mind?
Like wise I need to forgive my co-workers for my own peace of mind, because some of them may not even realize that they did me any wrong and besides I want others to forgive me whom I have wrong in the past and recently.

[1] I have read the Christian bible and the teaching of Jesus Christ the Lord and savior of mankind in the book of [“Matthew chapter 6:14-15]” which says, forgive people of the wrong things they did to you, So that God and other people can forgive you when you say I am sorry please.
[2] I know for sure that those who belief in getting even, most of the time ended up ruining their own lives and leaving their loved one's hurt.

And back to your question, Are you very close to the over all boss? Yes, you see I met the overall boss late last year and he asked me if I wanted to be called a child or a stranger in this vineyard, but I was to shy to respond,
then he said emancipate yourself from mental slavery, by forgiving others and you will be able to walk and live without unwanted emotions and baggage which has weigh you down for too long, I know you want to work and live in a peaceful environment, therefore learn from King David [1 SAMUEL 26: 7-25]
“David arose, and came to the place where Saul had encamped; and came to the people by night: and, behold,
Saul lay sleeping within the place of the wagons, with his spear stuck in the ground at his head; and Abner and the people lay round about him.
Then said Abishai to David, God has delivered up your enemy into your hand this day: now therefore please let me strike him with the spear to the earth at one stroke, and I will not strike him the second time.
David said to Abishai, don't destroy him; for who can put forth his hand against God's anointed, and be guiltless? David said,
As God lives, God will strike him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall go down into battle and perish.
God forbid that I should put forth my hand against God's anointed: but now please take the spear that is at his head, and the jar of water, and let us go.
So David took the spear and the jar of water from Saul's head; and they got them away:
And no man saw it, nor knew it, neither did any awake; for they were all asleep, because a deep sleep from God was fallen on them.
A great space being between them; and David cried to the people, now see where the king's spear is, and the jar of water that was at his head.
David said, why does my lord pursue after his servant? What have I done? Or what evil is in my hand?
Now therefore, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant.
If it be God that has stirred you up against me, let him accept an offering: but if it be the children of men, cursed be they before God:
For they have driven me out this day that I shouldn't cling to God's inheritance, saying, go, serve other gods.
Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David; for I will no more do you harm, because my life was precious in your eyes this day:
Behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.
David answered, Behold the spear, O king!
Let one of the young men come over and get it. God will render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness;
Because God delivered you into my hand today, and I wouldn't put forth my hand against God's anointed.
Behold, as your life was much set by this day in my eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of God, and let him deliver me out of all oppression.
Then Saul said to David, Blessed be you, my son David: you shall both do mightily, and shall surely prevail.
So David went his way, and Saul returned to his place”.
David spared the life of his enemy because he realized that Saul is God's handiwork just like all those people who offended you are. David proved that Our Lord Jesus Christ's commandment if obeyed is for each person's peace of mind, because his word addresses humanity at large and not just only for Christians.
Jesus Christ is reaching out to those who are hurting that needs a true friend and a new beginning.
Today you can stop wrestling with yourself, because to see the sun, the moon and the stars you must look upwards and the owner of a company will always remain the big boss. Likewise women will always be the child bearer and Jesus Christ will remain the head of any faithful church.
The corporate slogan will always be, looking out for number one, while getting to the top and staying there will still depends on who you know.
Every body has a boss and each boss has other bosses but GOD ALMIGHTY IS THE OVER ALL BOSS and Jesus Christ is the only link between God and people, so only by you getting to know him can your future be secured ARE YOU VERY CLOSE TO THE OVER ALL BOSS ?
"Don't judge, so that you won't be judged. For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. (Matthew 7:1-2)
