I’m an opinionated guy, but that doesn’t mean I want to impose my views on others.  The reason?  I think if I have to impose my views on you, you probably don’t care what I think.  But I also think there are some out there who maybe don’t necessarily agree, but appreciate a viewpoint and want to listen.  The “listen” part is actually the common ground, I feel, and is perhaps what draws open-minded people here.

Being opinionated doesn’t mean I choose not to listen, or have a lack of understanding.  The contrary is more accurate.  Listening and learning are what strengthens my opinions, and makes me more diverse.

This is why I am here.  I have had the pleasure of experiencing many things in life.  Most of them amazing, others not so much.  But it is this contrast that I feel will make for interesting discussion.  So let’s do this…
